According to various news reports Chinese panel manufacturers - BOE, Shanghai Hehui Optoelectronic and Truly Optoelectronics - are expected to construct new flexible OLED facilities in the first half of 2016.
Chinese panel manufacturers want to increase the opportunity to compete with Samsung Display, which currently holds over a 90% share in the small- to medium-size OLED segment. Chinese vendors are expected to incorporate the technology into handsets and other device.
- BOE is expected to begin constructing a new Gen 6 OLED facilities at its B7 fab in the first quarter of 2016 with monthly production capacity at 45,000 substrates.

- Truly will invest in Gen 4 curved OLED facilities at the beginning of 2016 with a monthly capacity of 15,000 substrates
